GF Eats

I came in today on my way back home to Sydney after a trip to Kiama. My sister today me I have to stop by gf eats as we are both celiacs. I was greeted by two lovely ladies who were so sweet and accommodating! The fish and chips was sooo good satisfied my cravings! Definitely recommend! Satisfies both savoury and sweet cravings without compromising on flavour!

I have been meaning to come here ever since I heard about it. Finally was able to go and i am amazed. First was the customer service. I said that I’d never been here before and asked what was gluten free (I have a gluten allergy), she said everything was. EVERYTHING! I was at a loss for words, never in my life had I been to a completely gluten friendly cafe/restaurant. The lady serving me was so lovely in helping me decide what I wanted. I ordered the chicken schnitzel burger with gravy and some donut balls. All gluten free. I couldn’t believe it. It was about a 30 min wait for the food which was fine because when I got it OMG I think I died and went to heaven. I could not comprehend how it was all safe for me to eat. Safe to say I left no crumbs and it was the best burger I’ve ever had. I will absolutely be coming back for more. Thank you to everyone who did their part in opening this cafe. It means so much to me that people want to provide nice quality food to those of us who can’t eat gluten. ❤️

Was really excited to come and have every food option gluten free, but unfortunately the service let it down. I ordered a Burger Box: which admittedly did say no changes allowed, however I asked if 1 burger could have no mayo as my partner is intolerant to eggs and they would not assist at all. They said they couldn’t as they need to make them really fast and their burger box doesn’t allow changes. I sucked this up and accepted it, ordering four burgers seperate. I also didn’t understand because it was very quiet, not peak time. However they really didn’t “make them fast” as we waited over 40 minutes for our meal and it was not very busy. I will not be coming back and recommend you go and make your own gluten free at home. It will be faster to make your own, cheaper and you can put no mayo on it! Regarding the reply: Thank you for your reply! The 40 minute wait in which we were not advised of and the $20 extra we payed for not having mayo on 1 of four burgers (no other changes) sums it up. Would have been faster not to put it on. That’s one expensive alteration!

Just so dang grateful for the wonderful team at GF Eats giving me somewhere safe to go. So weird not asking a billion questions before ordering. Just pick ANYTHING off the menu and I’m sorted. Best part? I can steal some of hubby’s food!!! Wonderful staff, an owner who doesn’t compromise on quality, and food that is safe AND delicious? Take my money

We eat here regularly because we have one coeliac in the family. Things have been a bit hit and miss and they can be incredibly slow. Sometimes the portions are good, sometimes, they’re small. Once we got take away boxes filled with oil when they must have forgotten to drain the deep fried schnitzel, that was gross. If these guys can get some more consistency and longer opening hours we’d be super happy. It’s just great to find GF food though.
